Seneca Knight Season 2019-20

AT SAN JOSE STATE: Louisiana native was a third team all-Mountain West selection as a sophomore after leading the team in both scoring and rebounding.

2019-20 (SOPHOMORE): Named third team all-Mountain West, the first player at SJSU to earn all-league honors since 2016-17... Made 30 starts and appeared in all 31 game for the Spartans, averaging a team-high 17.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game... Played a team-high 32.2 minutes per game... Averaged 20.1 points per game in Mountain West play, the third-best in the conference... Scored a career-best 37 points at Colorado State on Feb. 22, tied for the fourth-most points in SJSU single-game history... Tallied 30+ points three times, all on the road... Posted two double-doubles... Had 12 points 10 rebounds and six assists in a win over Pepperdine... Recorded 23 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in a loss to Fresno State... Had 22 points and eight rebounds in a win over Grambling State, his father's alma mater. 

2018-19 (FRESHMAN): Only freshman to appear in all 31 games ... Started the final 12 games of the season ... Averaged 6.2 points ... Six games in double-figure scoring ... Led SJSU with 15 points in the MW Tournament vs. Air Force (3/13) ... Dropped 17 points in collegiate debut vs. Life Pacific ... Scored 15 points at Fresno State (3/9) ... Led team with 14 points against Colorado State (2/20) ... Scored 12 points vs. Air Force (1/26) and at San Diego State (3/2). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterman at Northside High where he racked up over 1,000 career points ... Picked up 4A First Team All-State, All-Acadian and All-District honors in 2017-18 ... Second Team All-District as a junior ... Averaged 25 points, six rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals per game ... Was the No. 1 scoring forward in the state of Louisiana as a senior with over 600 points ... Racked up nine 30-point games and eight 20-point games as a senior ... Buried eight consecutive three-point baskets in a personal-best 36-point performance in a contest as a senior ... 

GET TO KNOW SENECA: Majoring in communication ... Parents are Seneca and Melanie Knight ... Father, Seneca, played college football at Grambling State and later for Grand Rapids in the Arena Football League ... Hobbies include watching movies, swimming, going on walks, hanging out with friends, spending time with his dog and doing community service work ... Originally from New Orleans ... Began playing organized basketball only four years ago.
