2018: Competed in all five races, scoring in the final four...was the first Spartan across the line at the Mountain West Championships (10/26), where he earned second-team All-Mountain West honors by virtue of his overall eighth place finish...he is the second Spartans men's cross country athlete to earn All-Mountain West designation...in his final collegiate cross country race, the NCAA West Regional Championships (11/9), he ran a career-best 10k time of 30:27.3 and his 42nd place finish was his highest in the championship...ran a season-best 24:48.3 at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals (10/13)...his top placing was eighth at the Mountain West Championships.
2017: Spent the season as a redshirt.
2016: Scored in each of the six races in which he competed… Set collegiate personal best for 8k (Santa Clara Duel – 10/15 – 24:11.9) and finished in a career-high third in the race… Best 10k time of his college career came at the NCAA West Regional Championships (11/11) with a 30:46.3… Got stronger and stronger as the season progressed… Twice was the second Spartan across the line – Mountain West Championships (10/28) in 24:59.4 and 27th place & NCAA Regional Championships (11/11) in 30:46.3 and 57th place… Was the team’s third finisher at the Bronco Invitational (10/15) in 24:11.9 and in the Santa Clara Duel.
2015: Scored in three of the six meets... Season best 29th place finish at the 6K Fresno State Invitational (9/11) with a time of 19:14.6... 8K season best 38th place finish at the USF Invitational (9/5) with a time of 26:30.7.
2014: Competed in six races, scoring in all of them… Season best 22nd place finish at the Fresno State Invitational 6K (9/5) with a time of 19:35.00... 8K season best 33rd place finish at the USF Invitational (8/30) with a time of 26:36.4.
Spring Season Track Highlights: Competed at the 2015 USA Track and Field Junior Championships (6/25 – 6/28) in the steeplechase with a time of 9:33.16… Placed first in the steeplechase for the 2015 Johnny Mathis Invitational (3/21) with a time of 9:46.10… Posted a best time of 9:31.05 in the steeplechase at the 2015 San Francisco State Distance Carnival (4/4)… Ran his lone 1,500m race with a time of 4:05.27 at the 2015 West Coast Last Chance (5/9).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Marina High School in Huntington Beach, Calif... Three sport athlete lettering in cross country (2011-2014), track and field (2013-2014) and soccer (2010)... 2013 First Team All-Sunset League.
