Nicholas Sherrell Season 2013

AT SJSU: Completed his second season of cross country in fall 2013.

2013 Cross Country: Competed and scored in five races...season-best 39th place finish came at the USF Invitational 8K (8/31)...fastest 8K time of 27:05.3 came at the Bronco Invitational (10/19)...43rd place with a time of 22:11.6 at the Fresno State Invitational four-mile run (9/14)...199th place with a time of 28:38 at the Stanford Invitational 8K (9/28)...finished in 61st place with a time of 28:59.67 at the Mountain West (MW) Championship (11/1).

2012: Competed in every race for the Spartans including the WAC Championship...top-finish of the season was sixth place at the 8K Aztec Invitational (9/15)...saved his fastest 8K time of the season (27:20.59) for the WAC Championship (10/27) where he came in 53rd place...26th place at the Crystal Springs Invitational (10/6)...90th place at the USF Invitational (9/1)...89th place at the Bronco Invitational (10/13).

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in cross country and track at San Lorenzo Valley High School in Felton, Calif...during his senior year he raced the 1600m, 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles and the 4x100 and was also a long jumper...finished track career with two individual victories in the 300m hurdles and 110m hurdles and four victories with the team in the 4x100 relay...recorded a personal best time of 18:30 in the cross country 5,000m race...also played football and baseball.

Nicholas: Majoring in film making...enjoys running, mountain biking and making videos in his free time...born June 15, 1993 in Santa Cruz, Calif., and now calls Ben Lomond, Calif., his hometown.
