- Started in his one appearance in his freshman season

- Recorded a shutout in that match (vs. UNLV, 4/5), tallying four saves
- Was named the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week on April 12 after his performance against the Rebels
- Waltz and sophomore David Sweeney combined to become the first pair of Spartan goalkeepers to earn conference player of the week awards since the 2008 campaign
- Ended his first season of competition with a perfect 0.00 goals against average along with a 1.000 save percentage.
2019:
- Was a valuable member of the team's practice squad while redshirting in his first year on-campus.
