- Recorded 43 hits to finish the season with a .328 batting average
- Owned a .557 slugging percentage
- Logged 31 RBIs and scored 29 runs
- Had 16 multi-base hits including six home runs
- Chalked a hit in 31 games including 11 multi-hit games
- Had a nine-game hitting streak during the season
- Stole eight bases and drew four walks
- Grabbed 37 putouts
2020 (FS):
- Appeared in 14 games and started three in the outfield for the Bulldogs
- Scored four runs and stole two bases.
Before SJSU:
- Played four seasons at Silver Creek HS
- Four-time All-Blossom Valley Athletic League (BVAL) selection
- Earned first team all-conference honors in each of her last three prep seasons
- Led her team to three league championships in the BVAL Mt. Hamilton division
- Team captain as a sophomore, junior, and senior
- Hit .421 as a senior, .384 as a junior, and .398 as a sophomore
- Hit .378 with a .436 on-base percentage and a .603 slugging percentage overall in her prep career, scoring 114 runs in just 93 total games
- Also tallied 44 stolen bases and had 48 extra-base hits
- Primarily played in the middle infield at second base and shortstop
- Played club softball for Suncats
PERSONAL: Parents are Elizabeth and Jaime Noriega ... Has one brother, Aaron, and three sisters, Melisa, Alicia, and Anmiy .... Younger sister Ahmiya also plays for SJSU ... Alicia played softball at Sacramento State in 2009 ... born and raised in San Jose ... Family members connected to SJSU include uncle Angel Rios and Aaron Noreiga who played SJSU baseball ... Sister-in-law Candice Noriega on cheer squad ... Chose SJSU to be able to play with younger sister, play in hometown in front of family and friends and for it's academic rigors.
