2017:Made 56 starts in the outfield in 56 total appearances…batted .253 (39-for-134) with 30 runs and 22 RBIs…in three games in the NCAA Regional, batted .714 (5-for-7), with a double and homer, scored two runs, drove in another and collected two walks…nine doubles ranked third on the team…enjoyed a two five game hitting streaks…scored twice in a game, which was a season-high, five times…had 10 two-hit efforts…drove in a season-best three runs against Portland State (2/24) and vs. Nevada (3/18) among six multi-RBI games…collected her lone triple of the season vs. Boise State (4/13)…five homers were the second most on the team…worked pitchers for 40 base on balls including a three-walk game against Iowa State (3/11)…swiped eight bags including a single-game best two against Rhode Island (2/24)…ranked first in the MW in walks…finished the regular season third in the conference in total plate appearances and 15th in steals…hit .447 (21-for-47) leading off…was successful in advancing runners in 44 out of 105 opportunities (.415) and with two outs, her eight RBIs ranked fourth on the team…finished with a .411 on base percentage of and a .422 slugging percentage…had 78 putouts and five assists and a 1.000 fielding percentage. 2016: A starter in 51 of the 52 games in which she appeared…batted .351 (60-for-171) with 56 runs and 49 RBI…56 runs led the team as did her 12 home runs and 27 walks…slugged .661 with a .440 on-base percentage…was a prefect 15-for-15 in steals…ranked second in hits, triples (2), RBI and total bases (113) and was third in doubles (13)…strung together a season-best seven-game hit streak from 2/11 to 2/19…scored a season-high four runs at Boise State (5/6)…four times rapped out three hits in a game vs. UNLV (3/29), at Nevada (4/22), vs. Fresno State (4/30) & New Mexico (5/13)…four-hit games were vs. UTEP (2/20), Colgate (3/17), UNLV (3/29) & at Utah State (4/10)…swiped a season-best two bases at Colorado State (4/3)…defensively had eight assists and a .943 fielding percentage. HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Santiago High School in Corona, Calif....a four-year letterwinner (coach John Perez)...reached CIF Division I state finals three times and won two championships...twice won Big 8 Conference championship...earned All-Big 8 Conference honors as a junior.
BRITTANY: Majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in communication...wants to pursue a career as a nurse...played club ball for California Lite (coach Pam Newton)...the daughter of Gerry and Chris Abacherli...a native of Corona, Calif., Brittany Nicole Abacherli was born July 4, 1995.
