SPARTAN NOTES: In her fourth year as a Spartan...entering 2018, on the program's career lists, ranks second in hit by pitch (36) and fourth in on base percentage (.438)…in 2016 her .478 on base percentage was the seventh highest in program history, in addition ranks first (19 in 2017) and fourth (12 in 2016) in being hit by a pitch which are junior and sophomore records, respectively.

2017: A starter 55 times, 51 at third base and four at shortstop, in 56 appearances…batted .271 (35-for-129) with 33 runs and 16 RBIs…finished the regular season ranked first in the Mountain West in hit by pitch, second in sacrifice bunts (8), 11th in assists and fielding double plays, 14th in on base percentage, 15th in steals, 17th in runs scored, lone homer, the second of her career, came at New Mexico (4/30)…drove in a season-high three runs at New Mexico (4/30)…longest hitting streak was five games (4/30-to- 5/7) in which she batted .400 (6-for-15) with a homer, five walks, eight runs and four RBIs…had seven two-hit games and seven two run games…doubles came against Rhode Island (2/24), and at San Diego State (4/1 & 4/2)…twice worked opposing pitchers for two walks in a game - at Fresno State (4/22) and vs. Utah State (5/5)…in a record setting season of taking one for the team, was hit twice in back-to-back games - vs. Princeton (3/23) and at Loyola Marymount (3/29)…was successful in eight of 10 stolen base attempts…hit .610 (25-for-41) leading off…was successful in advancing runners in 53 out of 96 opportunities (.552)…with a runner on third and less than two outs hit .500 (5-for-10) and with two outs, her seven RBIs was fifth on the team…finished with a .428 on base percentage of and a .318 slugging percentage…had 49 putouts and 100 assists. 2016: Made 42 starts, 32 at third base and 10 at shortstop, in 50 total appearances…batted .324 (34-for-105) with 32 runs and 21 RBIs…eight times banged out two hits in a game…had a total of six multi-RBI games with a season-high three against UTEP (2/20) & vs. Seattle (3/20)…doubles came against Seattle (3/20), at Nevada (4/24) & vs. Fresno State (4/29)…enjoyed a seven-game hit streak (4/23-to-5/7) in which she batted .471 (8-for-17) with two doubles, scored seven runs and drove in four…scored twice in a game six times…batted .667 (4-for-6) with the bases loaded and .464 (13-for-28) as a leadoff hitter…with a runner on third and less than two outs hit .625 (5-for-8) and went 13-for-35 (.371) with two outs…was successful in advancing runners in 42 out of 74 opportunities (.568) and with two outs, her 11 RBIs ranked sixth on the team…finished with a .3478 on base percentage of and a .352 slugging percentage…had 52 putouts and 92 assists. 2015: Started 45 games, 36 behind the plate, in 52 appearances...batted .293 (34-116) with eight doubles and one home run...scored 33 times and drove in 17...slugged .388 and had an on-base percentage of .413...leading hitter among the freshman on the squad...first home run of her collegiate career came in the season finale at New Mexico (5/9)...four times had two-RBI games -- versus Illinois-Chicago (2/20), San Diego (3/13), Pacific (3/25) and at New Mexico (5/7)...rapped out nine multi-hit games including a single-game high three hits at San Diego State (4/11)...scored multiple runs in seven games with a single-game best three runs versus Loyola Chicago (2/14), Pacific (3/25) and at New Mexico (5/3)... stole two bases, versus Portland State (2/7) and at New Mexico (5/7), without being caught...earned 20 bases on balls...had a .955 fielding percentage and four passed balls. NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: Named to the 2015 Canadian National Softball Team which will compete in the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto, Canada.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Lambrick Park Secondary School in Victoria, British Columbia...named the 2013 Sport B.C. Female High School Athlete of the Year as a five-sport athlete playing basketball, volleyball, soccer and tennis in addition to softball...her teams were the provincial volleyball champions, finished second in the province in basketball and soccer...earned the Golden Boot as the province's top scorer...was honored as the schools Athlete of the Year in each of her four years.
EMMA: Majoring in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise and rehab science...plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist...list soccer, basketball and volleyball as some of her interests away from the diamond...the daughter of Maureen and John Entzminger...Emma Alyce Entzminger is a native of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
