2018: Appeared in 46 games with 40 starts…earned 25 starts at first base and 15 as the designated player…batted .322 (38-for-118) with 15 runs scored and 21 RBIs…had an on base percentage of .398 and slugged .411…was successful in advancing runners at a .481 clip (63-of-112) and batted .350 (14-of-40) with two outs…had 12 multi-hit games, second most on the team, with a season-high three versus St. John’s (2/23) and at Santa Clara (2/28)…knocked in two runs in a game seven times, good for second on the team…home runs came at Colorado State (4/20) and at Utah State (5/4)…ranked second on the team with eight doubles and had a season-best two against Boston (3/8)…her 38 hits were fourth highest and 21 RBIs were fifth highest on the team…had a season high two walks against Idaho State (2/16) among 14 total for the year…defensively recorded 252 putouts with three assists and two errors in 257 chances, a team-high, and had a fielding percentage of .992.
2017: Made 36 starts in 41 total appearances…earned 33 starts at shortstop and three at designated player…batted .350 (41-for-117) with 20 runs and 22 RBIs…ranked second among freshman on the team in hits, runs and RBI…her 15 extra-base hits ranked second on the team…led the squad with six homers, including the first of her career at Grand Canyon (2/25)…against Boise State (4/15), drove in a run on a triple…longest hitting streak was seven game in which she batted .571 (12-for-21), had three home runs, two doubles, scored six times and drove in six…10 times in a game rapped out multiple hits, including two four-hit efforts - at San Diego State (3/31) and at New Mexico (4/30)…recorded six multi-RBI games with a three-RBI effort against Detroit (3/4) her season-best…scored multiple runs four times – vs. Portland State (2/25), Seton Hall (3/9), at Loyola Marymount (3/29) & at New Mexico (4/28)…worked pitchers for 12 walks, including two vs. San Diego (3/5)…as a leadoff hit .571 (12-for-21)…was successful in advancing runners in 36 out of 80 opportunities (.450) and with a runner on third and less than two outs batted .556 (5-for-9)…her 10 two-out RBIs were the second most on the team…batted .571 against lefties and .336 against righties…finished with a .411 on base percentage of and a .590 slugging percentage…had 52 putouts and 73 assists.
AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL TEAM: Has competed internationally for her country in the 2015 Junior Women’s Softball World Championship, 2016 Women’s Softball World Championship, 2017 World Cup of Softball and Canada Cup.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of St. Margaret’s Anglican Girls School in Brisbane, Australia…competed in softball (coach Desley Upton), baseball and soccer…earned All-State (Queensland) honors in 2013-14…as a member of Team Australia in 2014 was selected All-Australia.
GEORGIA: Majoring in journalism...after graduation she plans to return home and attend law school…played club ball for the Saints (coach Kym Tollenare) where she was a 2014 Club Champion as well as League Champion…the daughter of Sue and Warwick Blair…Georgia Rose Blair is a native of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
