2017 Academic All-Mountain West

2020: Played in 23 games, starting 20 in the outfield, in the shortened season…hit .275 with a .351 on-base percentage and .333 slugging percentage…had two hits against Hawaii and Canisius (twice)…two runs scored versus Hawaii…drove in two runs against Bradley…recorded doubles against Bradley, Hawaii and Santa Clara…walked six times…only stolen base against Yale…22 putouts and two assists on the season.
 
2019: Saw action in 36 games and started 18, mostly at shortstop to start the season…hit. 190 with eight hits and 13 runs scored…scored two runs against Northern Illinois and CSU Bakersfield…only two-hit game came in a win against Northern Illinois…drew seven walks including two against Mississippi Valley…recorded seven assists at New Mexico State and four putouts against CSU Bakersfield and BYU.


2018: Appeared in 20 games with 13 starts – 12 at shortstop and one at third base…batted .179 (5-for-28) with seven runs and seven RBIs…had an on base percentage of .324 and slugged .286…five of her seven RBIs came in two games – vs. Tennessee (2/9) and Idaho State (2/16)…hit her only homer of the season versus Tennessee and drove in three runs on the shot…scored two times in a game against Purdue (2/9) and Idaho State…lone stolen base came versus Purdue…twice earned two walks in a game – versus Purdue and St. John’s (2/23)…defensively had 13 putouts, 27 assists and eight errors. 

2017: Made 24 starts in 35 total appearances…earned 19 starts at shortstop, two at second base, two at third base and one at designated player…batted .151 (6-for-53) with 11 runs and six RBIs…longest hit streak was two games - vs. Southern Utah (2/17) and UTEP (2/19) – and had a two-RBI double in each game…lone multi-hit game, two base knocks, came vs. McNeese State (3/3) and included her third double of the season…worked pitchers for five base on balls…against Southern Utah drove in a run on a sacrifice fly…started the final nine games of the season, including all three in the NCAA Regional, at shortstop…batted .571 (4-for-7) with runners on third and less than two outs...finished with a .220 on base percentage of and a .208 slugging percentage…had 29 putouts, a game-high six vs. Hawai’i (2/17) and 28 assists, including three each against UCLA (5/20) and Cal State Fullerton (5/20) in the NCAA Regional.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Pioneer High School in San Jose, Calif…four-year letterwinner (coach Ernie Garcia)…first-team All-Mount Hamilton League (MHL) honoree in 2015 and 2016…second-team All-MHL in 2013…earned Sophomore of the Year in 2014…competed in volleyball for four years.
 
CLUB BALL: Played club ball for the San Jose Sting and coach Joe Gron.

MACKENZIE: Majoring in sociology…is interested in firefighting after graduation…Academic All-Mountain West honoree…daughter of Laura Dearborn and Barry Drake…Mackenzie Katherine Drake is a native of San Jose, Calif.
