Sierra Schlichting Season 2018

SPARTAN NOTES: In her first year as a Spartan.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of West Hills High School in Santee, Calif…four-year letterwinner (coach Mike Applebaum)…earned first-team all Grossmont Hills League and All-East County honors in her junior and senior seasons…two time San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team honoree…name her team’s MVP as a junior and Offensive Player of the Year as a senior as the team captain…in four year hit .364 with an on base percentage of .476, scored 66 runs and drove in 54.

SIERRA: Majoring in forensic science…hopes to pursue a career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation after graduation…played club ball for the SD Firecrackers (coach Raul Duarte)…the daughter of Erica and Eli Schlichgting…Sierra Schlichting is a native of San Diego, Calif.
