HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Edison High School in Fresno, Calif…four-year letterwinner (coach Miranda Gonzales)…as a senior batted .469 with 21 extra-base hits, drove in 21 and stole 24 bases…threw out 20-of-24 stolen base attempts and caught in 114 games in her high school career…four-time first team All-County Metro Athletic Conference (CMAC) honoree…a three-time (2016-18) All-CMAC Defensive Player of the Year, Fresno Bee All Star and 940 ESPN First Team selection…as a senior was named a Premiere Girls Fastpitch All-American catcher for the Western Region, a CalHi Sports second team all-state catcher, the Gus Zernial Hot Stove Female Player of the Year for the Fresno Grizzlies and ESPN 940 Pag Meter Defensive Player of the Year…was also named Edison High School’s 2018 Female Student-Athlete of the Year as well as B’nai Brith Student-Athlete of the Year, a City County All-Star and Fresno Junior League Student-Athlete of the year…led team to its first ever D-2 Valley Championship, going 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI.
KRISTEN: Plans to major in digital media design…hopes to pursue a career as an animator...played club ball for the Lady Wolfpack 18U Gold Alkire (coaches Melanie & Bill Ruiz)…led her club team to back-to-back third place finishes in the Champions Cup…the daughter of Tamara and Robert Arias…Kristen Lynne Arias is a native of Fresno, Calif.
