Taylor DeTinne Season 2019

SPARTAN NOTES: In her first season as a Spartan.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Oak Hills (Calif.) High School…four-year letterwinner (coach Kelli Rios)…posted a 1.58 ERA and batted .375 as a senior in earning the Mojave River League (MRL) Pitcher of the Year as well as Athlete of the Year honors...earned Citrus Belt Athlete of the Year, High-Desert Preps Softball Player of the Year and Rick Gabrielson Award winner as a senior as well…as a sophomore and junior was an All-MRL performer…earned MRL Pitcher of the Year and first-team All-CIF Division 4 in her freshman season…set and then equaled the schools single-season strikeout mark (157) in her freshman and senior seasons…last year set program records for innings pitched and shutouts.
 
TAYLOR: Plans on majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology…played club ball for the SoCal Athletics (coach Ken Briggs)…the daughter of Brian DeTinne…Taylor Leigh DeTinne is a native of San Bernardino, Calif.
