2013-14: Made one start in 21 appearances...averaged 3.9 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 14.7 minutes per game...scored a season-high 10 points vs. Nevada (2/19)...pulled down three rebounds, dished out three assists and had one block vs. Fresno State (2/8), all season-bests...lone start came vs. New Mexico (2/1) and had three steals...four times knocked down two 3-pointers...began the season making her first 10 free throws...missed nine games in the middle of the season due to injury.
2012-13: Appeared in 29 games and made six starts...averaged 5.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.7 steals in 22.4 minutes per game...second on the team, and led the freshman, with31 3-pointers made and 104 attempted...30 assists tied for most on the team among freshman...had four games of double-digit scoring, all in conference play...best offensive output was 14 points against Texas State (12/29)...grabbed a season-best six rebounds against Utah State (1/12)...had three steals, a season-high, at UTSA (3/7)...twice, against Southern Utah (12/8) and Texas State (12/29) dished out four assists...nine times knocked down two 3-pointers in a game...her 22.4 minutes per game were the most coming off the bench.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Terra Nova High School (coach Kareem Summerville) in Pacifica, Calif....averaged 12.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.9 steals in earning first-team All-Peninsula Athletic League (PAL) honors as a senior...in three years as a varsity athlete her team went a combined 67-21, 29-1 in PAL contests and won their league and the San Mateo County championship each year...lettered in volleyball and earned honorable mention All-PAL honors.
JAYZYL: Majoring in business with an emphasis in accounting...enjoys volleyball, shopping and going to movies in her spare time...the daughter of Sylvia Selinger-Tauala and Nofoa Tauala, Jr....a native of San Francisco, Calif., Jayzyl Fa[apos]atamali[apos]i Sose Tauala was born May 22, 1994.
