Nefer Leon Season 2018-19

SPARTAN NOTES: Has competed for one season as a Spartan.

2018-19: Appeared in 18 games all off the bench…averaged 1.7 points, 0.6 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.3 steals in 4.9 minutes per game…logged a season-high 16 minutes at Utah State (1/16)…scored a season-high five points at San Diego State (12/21) and at Boise State (1/12)…dished out a season-high three assists at Portland State (11/11)…best rebounding efforts were two at Portland State, versus Pacific (11/29) and at Utah State…six times in the season had a steal in a game…was 9-of-10 from the line and going 3-of-3 at Portland State…five of eight buckets on the season were three-pointers.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate Olabide Ikastola in Vitoria, Álava, Spain…averaged 16.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. 

NEFER: Plans on majoring in public health…name is pronounced “NEH-fur   LAY-own”…the daughter of Nuria Ruiz and Miguel León…Nefer León is a native of Vitoria, Spain.
