2019-20: Was Basallo's first season of athletic eligibility at San José State…earned the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year award, averaging a team-high 18.5 points per game while shooting 44.7 percent from the field, 45.4 percent from beyond the arc and 92.5 percent at the free throw line…ended the season as a Her Hoop Stats Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year semifinalist...was also named to the All-Mountain West Team after a season in which she earned back-to-back Mountain West Player of the Week awards at one point...earned the College Sports Madness High Major Player of the Week award on Dec. 9 and was named the CSM Mountain West Player of the Week on both 11/25 and 12/9...averaged 21.1 points, 4.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game for the month of January en route to earning the honor of San José State University Student-Athlete of the Month...scored a career-high 33 points in a victory over San Diego (11/23)...played a career-high 40 minutes against Fresno State (1/4)...also averaged 4.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 29 games played (started every one)...won the conference's scoring title and was the first Mountain West performer to reach the 500-point plateau...finished the season ranked first in the Mountain West in both scoring and free throw percentage...ranked second nationally in free throw percentage and was first among Division I newcomers...now owns the SJSU career record for single-season free throw and three-point percentage...her 149 made free throws ranked at No. 5 on SJSU's single-season list...536 total points ranked No. 8 on program's single-season list...the sophomore scored her team's final six points in 62-60 victory over UNLV - a stretch that included two game-tying free throws before hitting the game-winning jumper with less than a second remaining...also scored her team's final eight points in a 58-53 win at Colorado State and hit the tying and game-winning free throws in an 81-80 victory at New Mexico...was the nation's fourth-best player for points per possession (1.2) in the final two minutes of a close game...also ranked No. 4 nationally in points scored (85) in the fourth quarter/overtime of close games...led the Mountain West in total points scored (182, next closest performer had 136) in the final five minutes of each half...one of four players nationally to average 18.5+ points and 4.5+ assists per game.
2018-19: Redshirted the season per NCAA transfer rules.
CAL POLY: Competed for the Mustangs in the 2017-18 season…earned the Big West Conference Sixth Player of the Year award, averaging 7.6 points per game while shooting 40.8 percent from both the field and beyond the arc and 80.5 percent from the line…was the program's first-ever player to earn a conference's Sixth Player of the Year award...scored a career-high 21 points against UC Riverside, spending nearly the entire game on the floor (39 minutes)...also averaged 1.9 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 29 games played.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate St. Ignatius Prep in San Francisco, Calif…a two-year letterwinner (coached by Mike Mulkerrins)…a two-time San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro performer and first-team All-West Catholic Athletic League honoree…as a senior she averaged 15.0 points, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals and led her team to the CIF State Championship Tournament’s Division III Regional Semifinals after competing in the Central Coast Section (CCS) Open Division consolation final…in her junior season she averaged 19.2 points and 4.9 assists per game and led the team to the CCS Division II championship…Competed for Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco, Calif. as a freshman and sophomore (coached by Greg Hom)…in two years the team posted a 43-12 record, won the Bay Counties West League (BCWL) title twice and reached the North Coast Section Division IV quarterfinals twice…as a sophomore she averaged 24.3 points and 4.5 assists and was honored as Sophomore of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle as well as the BCWL Player of the Year…competed at the USA Basketball U-16 Trials in 2015.
