Arianna Newcomb Season 2018

First season at San José State.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played at West Valley College during the 2016-17 season on the indoor and beach volleyball teams…led the team in kills with 332, 4.26 per set, and digs at 361, 4.63 ps…first team All-Coach Conference, North Division, for both indoor and beach seasons…partnered with Hayley Sturgeon to compete at the California Community College Athletic Association Beach Championships, a first in school history for a West Valley pair.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Graduated from Mount Spokane High School in 2015…four-year starter…first team All-Greater Spokane League her senior year…also played basketball…school’s all-time career rebounder…played for Sideout Volleyball Club and College Prep Academy Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL:  Majoring in business marketing…would like to work in fashion after graduation…one of four children…likes playing basketball and hanging out at the beach…Arianna Rae Newcomb was born in Spokane, Wash.
