Giulia Gávio Season 2018

2019: Had a 9-13 record in the second position…paired with Luiza Andrade in all 22 matches…all nine wins were in straight sets.
 
2018: Did not participate in the season due to an injury suffered during the 2017 indoor season.
 
2017: Had a 10-7 record for the season…was 5-5 in the third position and 5-2 in the fourth position…started the year in the fourth position with Jamie Hirai…moved to the third position to partner with Luiza Andrade…won the first match played together against #13 Grand Canyon.
 
2016: Played in six matches with Luiza Andrade…three matches at #4 (0-3) and three at #5 (2-1)…both wins were in straight sets…three of their four losses went three sets.
 
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE:  Played for the Brazilian Youth National Team…2011 team won the South American Championship…played club for Flamengo…team won the Copa Minas International Volleyball Tournament in 2012 and 2013…best hitter at the Copa Minas in 2012 and 2013.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Graduated from Escola Parque High School.
 
PERSONAL:  An international business major...likes taking pictures and going to the beach…father, Giovane, is a two-time Olympic champion in men’s volleyball from Brazil (1992, 2004)…Academic All-Mountain West honoree…one of four children…Giulia Dalpra Gávio was born on October 25, 1996, in São Paulo.
