2020: Partnered with Kaitlynn Zdroik to go 7-4 on the shortened season…was 6-4 in the top position and 1-0 at number two…won five matches in straight sets…won the final match of the season in straight sets.
2019: Finished the season with a 10-13 record…partnered with Tabea Schwarz in the top spot…nine of the 10 wins were in straight sets…needed three sets to defeat the top pair at #12 California.
INTERNATIONAL BEACH VOLLEYBALL: Selected to represent Australia at the 2017 FIVB under-21 World Championships held in Nanjing, China…finished first at the Bundaberg Major State Tournament in 2018…qualified for the 2017 World Championships at the Asian under21s Beach Volleyball Competition in Thailand…silver medalist at the 2016 National Beach Volleyball Championship.
PORTLAND STATE: Played two seasons for the Vikings…2017 All-Big Sky first team honoree…led the team in kills in 2017 with 392, 3.81 per set…second in the conference in kills…16 matches she led the team in kills…recorded 20-plus kills in five matches…in 2016, second on the team in kills at 196 (2.55 ps)…also had 24 service aces 183 digs and 15 blocks.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mountain Creek High School in 2015…graduated in the top one percent of her class…Sportswoman of the Year winner (2014-15)…regional record holder for the high jump…played club for the Queensland Pirates and the Brisbane Volleyball Club…Tier 1 Athlete at the Queensland Academy of Sport.
PERSONAL: Kinesiology major…would like to play in the Olympics…wants to be a physio therapist after graduation…Academic All-Mountain West honoree…has competed internationally for Australia in indoor volleyball sing age 15 and internationally for beach at 17…Caitlin Daniel Bettenay was a two-time Big Sky Fall All-Academic honoree.
