Second season at San José State.
2020: Recorded a 9-2 record during the shortened season…partnered with Thaliana Grajeda…pair was 8-2 in the second spot…moved up to the top spot and won their final match of the season…finished the year with a three-match winning streak… won five matches in straight sets including over a pair from Oregon.
2019: Played 23 matches during the season…finished with a 10-13 record in the first position with partner Caitlin Bettenay… nine of the 10 wins were in straight sets…needed three sets to defeat the top pair at #12 California.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Gymnasium Oberhaching in 2018…played club for SV Lohhof Claudia Mürle…team was the German champion for the under-18 age group in 2017…in beach, was the German beach champion in 2018 with her partner Isabel Martin.
PERSONAL: Majoring in environmental studies with a minor in business…Tabea Johanna Schwarz is the first Spartan volleyball player from Germany.
