- With Nelson as her partner, defeated No. 16 Long Beach State's pair of Skyler Germann and Alice Pratesi (14-21, 21-19, 15-9) on March 31

- Finished with three wins on the season in the No. 1 position alongside Haylee Nelson
- Beat Pacific's Hanne De Schrijver and Alexa Edwards 22-20, 17-21, 15-9 on April 17
- Beat Sacramento State's Ashtin Oley and Macey Haydin twice on April 18 and April 21
BEFORE SJSU:
- Graduated in 2019 from Lincoln High School in Stockton, Calif. where Ward played four years of varsity indoor and beach volleyball as a setter and libero
- Captain of high school team for two years, named MVP of high school team in senior year
- Played the 2019 indoor and 2020 beach season at West Valley College in Saratoga, Calif. under coach Armen Zakarian
- Indoor team won the 2019 Coast Conference championship
- Second team All-Coast honors
- In beach, teamed with Rene Wash as the #2 pair and finished 4-0 against community college pairs
- Earned the 2020 WVC Fang Pei Promise Fund academic scholarship

Chose SJSU because of her experiences playing against the Spartans while at West Valley, the diversity and culture of the team, and its proximity to Ward's home and church.
