2011: Competed in two races...finished in 63rd with a time of 27:50.6 at the San Francisco State Invitational (6K)...came in 108th at the Bronco Open (5K) with a time of 22:32.
2010: Competed in every race of the season...highest finish of 29th came at the Battle of the Bay race (9/4)...20:29.0 was her fastest 5K time which came at the Bronco Invitational...finished in 68th place at the WAC Championship (10/30)...90th at the Gator Invitational (10/8).
2009: Did not compete.
2008: Competed in three meets...placed 72nd for her best finish at the 2008 Hornet Jamboree...fastest 5K time of 24:09 at the Santa Clara Open.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letter winner in cross country and track (Coach Ryan Chatfield) at San Jacinto (Calif.) High School ...Mountain Pass All-League honoree her senior year.
PERSONAL: Majoring in kinesiology...intends to pursue a sports medicine career...enjoys watching movies and dancing...a native of Los Angeles, Calif., Jessica Ponce was born on June 24, 1990.
