Sabrina Miller joined the Spartans coaching staff as director of operations for the 2018 season after spending four years playing mid-fielder for SJSU from 2014-2017.
In her first year in the role, Miller oversaw all San Jose State Women's Soccer operations and managed social media for the 2018 Mountain West Tournament Champions.
After suffering a season-ending injury that cut her sophomore campaign short, Miller bounced back as a junior to appear in all 20 games and net three goals to go with three assists. The Bakersfield, Calif., product then appeared in all 20 games of her senior campaign in 2017 while also serving as a team captain for the regular-season Mountain West champions.
Miller, a two-time Mountain West All-Academic selection, was named the team's 2017 Most Inspirational Player. During her playing career, she also received academic accolades for Most Valuable Student-Athlete and was awarded the Mountain West Scholar-Athlete Award and the Asher Award.
Miller graduated from San Jose State with Honors in 2018 with a degree in Management Information Systems. She was a member of the Gary J. Sbona Honor's Program, Phi Kappa Phi academic chapter and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Miller now works for the NASA Ames Research Center in the Silicon Valley as an IT analyst in the Supercomputing Division.
In her spare time, Miller enjoys going on runs with her border collie, Nahla, as well as reading, traveling and working on her programming skills.
