AT SAN JOSE STATE: Did not see any playing time in her first season with the Spartans.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time letter winner in soccer at Notre Dame High School, Belmont ... As a senior, she was named the league goalie of the year and voted the second-best goalie in the Bay Area after helping her squad capture the league championship ... As a sophomore, she was named Goalie of the Year after posting 10 shutouts in 17 matches as her team claimed the league championship for the first time in 14 years ... She was named a Central Coast Section (CCS) honorable mention honoree as a junior as the team captured the CCS Div. 2 championship title ... As a freshmen, she played midfield and was named an all-league honorable mention. 

GET TO KNOW SOPHIA: Plans on majoring in Kinesiology and wants to attend graduate school/nursing school to further her education ... Parents are Michael and Alicia Viviani ... Has three siblings, Briana, Niccolo and Tristan ... Is a member of the Maltese Heritage Association and enjoys making Maltese Jewelry ... Also enjoys snowboarding in her spare time.
