AT SAN JOSE STATE: Two-time All-Mountain West honoree as a freestyle specialist ... Ranks No. 5 on the school's all-time top-10 list in the 50 free ... Part of five relays on the program's top-10 list ... Earned All-MW honors as a freshman as part of the 200 freestyle relay ... Earned All-MW honors for the first time individually in the 50 free in 2020. 

2019-20: At the CSCAA National Invitational Championships, she finished eighth in the 50 free with a time of 23.22 ... At the Mountain West Championships, she earned All-Mountain West honors in the 50 free with her tie for seventh place with a time of 23.18 ... In the 50 free prelim, she swam the the No. 5 time on the school's all-time top-10 list (22.96) ... Finished 18th in the 100 free with a personal-best 50.95 ... Part of 200 freestyle relay that clocked the No. 8 time in program history to finish in fourth (1:32.32)

2018-19: At the Mountain West Championships, she was the Spartans' top finisher in 15th place in the 50 free (23.19) ... Finished 28th in the 100 free (51.78) and 42nd in the 200 free (1:57.92) ... Part of 200 freestyle relay that finished third with the program's fifth-best time (1:31.75); Earned her first All-Mountain West honor with her leg in the event ... At the CSCAA National Invitational Championships, she finished 17th in the 50 free (23.42). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of Rochester Community High School... Lettered all four years of high school… School record holder in the 50 and 100 free… Part of the school records in the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, and the 400 free relay. Was the first state qualifier for the school. Four-time All-Conference honoree.

MORE ON MADELYN: Plans to major in Kinesiology with plans to become a physical therapist for elders... Hobbies include reading, singing, and watching vines... A native of Logansport, Indiana.
