Kristina Hollander was named the San Jose State University women's tennis assistant coach in August 2018.
Hollander joins the Spartan coaching staff after serving as the head tennis professional for a major hotel chain in Puerto Rico. She also held tennis pro positions in Nevada and Connecticut.
The four-year letterwinner at UNLV was the second Mountain West women's tennis player in conference history to be named all-conference in singles and doubles each of four seasons.
Playing as Kristina Nedeltcheva, she was a nationally-ranked Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) singles and doubles player and the 2010 ITA Mountain Region Senior of the Year during her college career. She competed in the 2007 and 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships in doubles and the 2010 NCAA Championships as a singles entry for the Rebels.
She was a three-time Academic All-Mountain West award winner, an ITA Scholar-Athlete and graduated with honors in 2010. Hollander was named UNLV's 2010 Sportswoman of the Year.
The native of Sofia, Bulgaria, was an Under-14, Under-16 and an open singles national indoor champion.
