Sarah Delgado Season 2018-19

AT SAN JOSE STATE: In her first season of track and field with the Spartans... Projected to compete in the distance events... A member of the 2018 SJSU women's cross country team.

2018 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran a 25:22.4 at the USF Cross Country Invitational (9/1) and finished in 57th place in her only race of the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of North Monterey County High School in Castroville, Calif.…A four-time letterwinner in both cross country and track and field (coach Gustavo Ibarra)… Three-time All-Monterey Bay League (MBL) honoree – as a freshman in cross country and as a junior and senior in track… The 2018 MBL 800 meter champion… Holds the school’s 3-mile record… Named the track team’s MVP three times (sophomore through senior years)… Her 800 meter time of 2:19.68 ranks third all time in program history.

SARAH: Plans to major in civil engineering… She is a native of Castroville, Calif.
