AT SJSU: Completed herthird season of cross countryas a Spartan in 2013.
2013 Cross Country: Scored in all five races she competed in and led the Spartans three consecutive times to end the season...led SJSU at the Bronco Invitational (10/19) with her fastest-career 6K time of 21:54.5...season-best 25th place finish came at the Fresno State Invitational (9/14)...33rd place with season-best 5K time of 19:28.2 at the USF Invitational...finished 62nd with a time of 23:12 at the Stanford Invitational...first Spartan across the finish line at the Mountain West Championship 6K (11/1) with a time of 24:49.12.
2012 Cross Country: Competed and scored in three races, two of which resulted in top-25 finishes...ran her season-best 5K time of 18:48.20 and was SJSU[apos]s top finisher at the USF Invitational (9/1) where she placed 24th...also led the Spartans when she came in 17th place at the Aztec Invitational (9/15), completing the 5K course in 19:39.6...finished 105th at the Stanford Invitational (9/29) with a time of 22:50 on the 6K course.
2011 Cross Country: Began her Spartan career with an individual and team victory at the Battle of the Bay Invitational (5K) where she snapped the tape in 23:12...was named the Spartan Foundation Student-Athlete of the Month for September...recorded three more top-20 finishes throughout the season at the UC Riverside Invitational, Willamette Invitational and the WAC Championship where she was the team[apos]s top-finisher in 21st place...ended the year by competing in the NCAA West Regional race where she finished the 6K course in 24:02 and came in 195th place.
SOUTHWESTERN COLLEGE: Attended Southwestern College in Chula Vista, Calif., and competed for the cross country team in 2010...finished in sixth place overall (18:19) at the California state championship...was one of her team[apos]s top two finishers in seven out of eight races on the year and was a 2010 all-league selection.
SWEET WATER HIGH SCHOOL:Earned letters all four years in both track and cross country...was a three-time all-league selection in track and field (2007-09) and a four-time all-league selection in cross country (2006-09)...finished in 60th place (19:00) at the 2009 Division I California State Championship (5K)...holds Sweetwater High School track and field records in the 1600 meter (5:08) and the 3200 meter (11:19).
AYLIN: A health science major with a minor in gerontology...enjoys swimming and spending time with friends and family in her free time...born on April 2, 1992 in Tala Jalisco, Mexico...now calls San Diego, Calif., her hometown.
