Meagan McKee starts the 2014-15 season as a first year volunteer assistant coach to the San Jose State women's throwing program.
As a collegiate athlete at Fresno State, McKee was a six-time Mountain West champion (shot put and hammer throw), six-time NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships qualifier (shot put and hammer throw), competed in the 2013 USATF Indoor Championships (weight throw), and also competed in the 2014 USATF Outdoor Championships (hammer throw).
McKee was also named the Bulldog of the Year in 2014. McKee obtained her USATF Level 1 Certification in December of 2012. She is currently pursuing the hammer throw for the Olympic Trials in 2016.
McKee is a San Jose native and earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from Fresno State.
