Najelah Najdawi Season 2013

AT SAN JOSE STATE: In her third season with the Spartans... Name is pronunced Nah-jell-ah Nahj-dow-we.

2013: Reserve utility player during the season... Did not score any goals.

2012: Completed the season as a redshirt.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons each of water polo (Coach Randy Wright) and swimming at the College of San Mateo... Was a California Community College All-American in both sports... Became the first All-American women[apos]s water polo player at the college in 2010... Three-time 2011 All-American swimmer in the 50 free, 50 breast and 100 breast.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in swimming, tennis and wrestling at El Camino High in South San Francisco, Calif.

NAJELAH: A psychology major...Is interested in a coaching career... The San Francisco native was born on July 17, 1991.
