AT SAN JOSE STATE: In her second season with the Spartans... Competing for playing time at the goalkeeper position.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in water polo (Coach Roxanne Leasure) and swimming at  Righetti High in Santa Maria, Calif... Water polo team captain and named her team's Most Inspirational  Player as a senior... 2018 All-C.I.F. Southern Section Division Division III second-team honoree... Two-time All-Pac 8 League award winner... First team as a senior and second-team choice as a junior... Named her team's top defensive player her junior season.

MORE ABOUT SOPHIA: Plans to major in biological sciences with a concentration in system physiology... Interested in pursuing medical school... Enjoys trying new food and going to the beach...Played club water polo for Orcutt Polo Association (Coaches Roxanne Leasure & Chris Yee) and Santa Barbara 805 (Coaches Cathy Neushul & Connor Levoff).
