Annie Feller begins her sixth season as a member of the Spartan coaching staff.
Feller was the head coach at Santa Clara from 1993-98, where she had four winning seasons and made three NCAA tournament appearances. She recorded two 20-win seasons (1993, 22; 1998, 20). Her 1993 team won the West Coast Conference title.
After serving as an assistant coach for three seasons (1990-92), Feller took over the head coaching duties for the 1993 season. Her first team posted a then-school record regular season wins, won its second straight WCC title and earned a spot in AVCA/Tachikara Top 25 poll for the first time in school history.
Prior to her Santa Clara stint, Feller was an assistant coach at Hawaii as a member of Dave Shoji[apos]s coaching staff. She helped Hawaii to a 1988 national runners-up finish.
An All-American at UC Riverside, Feller led her team to the 1986 NCAA Division II National Championship and was Reebok[apos]s Division II Player of the Year. A three-time CCAA first team pick, she was a 1986 Broderick Award nominee and UC Riverside[apos]s Female Athlete of the Year twice. Feller was a 1993 inductee into the UC Riverside Hall of Fame.
Feller graduated from UC Riverside in 1987 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She received a master of arts degree in education administration from Santa Clara in 1994.
Feller resides in Saratoga with her husband Steve and their children Kevin and Adam.
