Greg Segrove first joined the San José State University athletics staff in June 2012. Originally an athletic performance graduate assistant, he was promoted to an assistant coaching position in July 2013.
Segrove's experiences in athletic performance include working in the college, professional and business environments. He's currently the athletic performance coach for men's basketball, women's soccer and men's golf while assisting with football.
Seagrove is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 certied coach and has implemented successful nutrition planning for his student-athletes along with strength and conditioning training.
During the 2010 and 2011 seasons, he was a strength and conditioning intern with the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. Segrove also worked for the Southern California branch of Athletes Performance - a nationwide leader in integrated performance training, nutrition and physical therapy for professional athletes.
Segrove is a 2011 San José State graduate who majored in kinesiology. In 2014 he earned a master's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise physiology from San José State. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and the American Red Cross in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillator).
