Karter Lang started at SJSU as a graduate assistant working with the baseball team in the fall of 2020 and completed her Master's degree in Kinesiology at SJSU in the spring of 2022 before being hired onto the sports medicine staff full-time that summer. She conducted a study in her final semester investigating injury rehabilitation experiences of athletes during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and remains interested in furthering her knowledge on all aspects of these injury processes in order to provide the best support for each of her athletes.
Karter is a native of Moorpark, Calif., and received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Health Sciences at Louisiana State University from 2016-2020. While in Baton Rouge, she worked as a student athletic trainer with the softball, track and field, and football teams, was a member of the 2019 National Championship LSU Football team, and spent a summer interning with the Arizona Diamondbacks in Arizona. She remains a proud 805 product and massive Tiger fan in San Jose.
