Khristine Lugo joined the San José State Athletics Department as the Executive Assistant to the Athletics Director in February 2018. Prior to her appointment, Lugo worked at the First Tee of Silicon Valley as the operations manager.
She is the primary contact for the Athletics Director and oversees special projects for the Athletics Director and campus departments. She follows up with the senior staff and members of the President's cabinet on behalf of the Athletics Director. She also executes various human resources functions including but not limited to payroll, new staff appointments, as well as student-assistants and volunteers.
Lugo received her Bachelors degree in Recreation, Parks, & Tourism with an emphasis in Event Management from San Francisco State University in 2013.
She resides in Sunnyvale with her husband Armando and dog Cruzer.
