Mary Zanon earned her Bachelor of Arts in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from San José State University. She previously worked as an Evaluation Counselor with the SJSU Undergraduate Admissions team, where she managed the evaluation of academic records and ensured compliance with university admission policies.
Before her role at SJSU, Mary served as an Accelerated Learning Specialist for the Campbell Union School District. There, she supported the implementation of structured lessons and intervention programs designed to enhance academic and reading skills for students in grades K–6.
Mary is now excited to join the Student-Athlete Resource Center (SARC) as the NCAA Eligibility and Certification Coordinator. In this role, she supports student-athletes by overseeing academic eligibility requirements. She is passionate about helping students succeed both academically and athletically and looks forward to contributing as a valuable member of the SARC team.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, hiking, playing tennis, and traveling to gain fresh perspectives and experiences.
