Miles joined SJSU football as a graduate assistant for the offense in August of 2026. He played quarterback at New Mexico during the 2022-23 season, starting seven games, after playing four years at Kansas.
Kendrick brings a rich collegiate playing background across multiple levels to his coaching role, having earned his degree in communication studies from the University of Kansas.
NEW MEXICO:
Experience: Played one season (2022), appearing in eight games with seven starts.
Passing Stats: Completed 84 of 143 passes (58.7%) for 863 yards with three touchdowns.
Rushing Stats: Added 148 rushing yards on 76 attempts with three touchdowns.
KANSAS:
- Experience: Lettered three seasons for the Jayhawks, appearing in 17 total games with four starts.
- Passing Stats: Completed 96 of 157 passes (61.1%) for 853 yards with nine touchdowns.
- Rushing Stats: Added 101 rushing yards on 71 carries with one touchdown.
- Highlight: Recorded a career-high 166 passing yards and two touchdowns against TCU in 2020.
COLLEGE OF SAN MATEO (JC):
- Experience: Played one season under head coach Larry Owens, appearing in 11 games and starting nine.
- Performance: Led San Mateo to an 11-2 overall record and a runner-up finish in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) state championship game.
- Passing Stats: Completed 103-of-178 passes for 1,889 yards and 18 touchdowns, including a 91-yard completion.
- Rushing Stats: Accumulated 417 yards on the ground with five touchdowns across 103 rushing attempts.
