Ross M. Nakaji, PT, OCS, SCS, ATC, CSCS is a San Jose native and 1993 graduate of the University of the Pacific with a B.S. in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. Prior to attending physical therapy school, he was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Sanford University from 1993-1995. In 1997, Ross graduated from the University of the Pacific with an M.S. in Physical Therapy. Ross holds additional credentials from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in which he is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), Certified Athletic Trainer from the NATA (ATC) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA (CSCS). Currently, he is the founder of Los Gatos Orthopedic Sports Therapy, Inc. in Los Gatos, CA. He consults with numerous local college and universities, as well as professional teams and athletes in sports physical therapy and rehabilitation. Ross serves as a rehabilitation consultant to the San Jose Sharks Hockey Club in San Jose, CA. He is an adjunct clinical faculty member at the O’Connor Hospital Family Practice Sports Medicine Fellowship program in San Jose, CA and regularly lectures at national physical therapy conferences and internationally with The Jackson Foundation: Project Africa.
