Toni Bianco joined San José State Athletics on Nov. 8 as a Multimedia Specialist. She will serve as the primary contact for women's basketball, softball, men's and women's track and field, and will assist with digital media and social media efforts for the department.
Bianco spent the last five months at UC San Diego as a Communications Assistant, covering cross country, softball and women's water polo. She helped edit social media videos and graphics, served as the primary social media content provider for certain game days, and hosted Tritoncast, a UC San Diego podcast where she interviewed student-athletes, staff and coaches.
Prior to working at UC San Diego, Bianco worked as an intern at Syracuse in the communications office, working on assigned sport game days and assisting with women's basketball. She spent time with the ACC Network as a pre- and postgame producer, working in the broadcast control room and building graphics and video packages. Bianco spent one year as a programming director at CitrusTV, a student run television network that was the 2019 BEA Winner for Signature Station.
Established in January 2021, Bianco runs her own podcast, Queen Cobra, which is based off the Netflix hit show Cobra Kai. She attended Syracuse University and graduated in 2021 with a degree in broadcast and digital journalism with a minor in sports management.
