Ojai, Calif.--San Jose State women's golfer Stephanie Gibri shot a four-under 67 and finished third at the 2013 California Women's Championship at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, from July 15-17.
Gibri shot the low round of the tournament with her 67 in the final round. She finished two shots behind the top-two finishers. Gibri improved her standing each day, shooting a 76 in round one, 74 in round two and 67 in the final round.
Entering her senior season, Gibri is a four-year member of the Spartan team. A resident of Sunnyvale, she graduated from Homestead High School.
The California Women's State Championship is sponsored by the Pacific Women's Golf Association, San Diego County Women's Golf Association, Women's Golf Association of Northern California and Women's Southern California Golf Association. The four associations represent over 66,000 amateur players from California.
