SAN JOSÉ STATE AT SPARTAN STADIUM SUNDAY: The San José State University women's soccer team (2-13-1, 1-6-1 MW) hosts Colorado State on Sunday, October 27 for a 2:30 p.m. (PDT) match.
The Spartans finished the weekend 0-1-1, after a 0-0 tie at Air Force and a 1-0 loss at Wyoming.
San José State earned a scoreless 0-0 tie against the Air Force Falcons in a Mountain West match on Friday, October 18. The Spartans' goalkeeper, Zoe Makrigiannis, earned her first shutout of the season, making six saves for the clean sheet.
A Wyoming goal just over a minute in to the second half doomed the Spartans as they fell to the Cowboys, 1-0, in a Mountain West match on Sunday, October 20.

COLORADO STATE RAMS: Colorado State (2-11-2, 1-7-0 MW) has averaged just 0.40 goals per match, a Mountain West-low. However, four of its six goals this season have been scored by Sasha Pchenitchnikova and Erika Bratschun, each netting two goals.

The 2009 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Coach of the Year, he is the only coach to lead his team to back-to-back regular season conference titles. In each of his first four years, he led the Spartans to a WAC Tournament bid.
