San Jose State University quarterback David Fales and wide receiver Chandler Jones will be the in-studio guests on the KPIX-TV (Channel 5, San Francisco) sports magazine show, GameDay, Sunday, December 1.
Fales and Jones combined for three first-half touchdowns in the Spartans' 62-52 win over previously unbeaten and #16-ranked Fresno State on November 29. The win made San Jose State eligible to be invited to a post-season bowl game and lifted the Spartans record to 6-6 for the season and 5-3 in their first year of Mountain West Conference competition.
Fales completed 35-of-47 passes for 547 yards and six touchdowns and scored on a 1-yrad run in the second half in the Spartans' most important game of the season. Jones tied a San Jose State single-game record with his three touchdown grabs and finished with eight receptions for 146 yards.
GameDay airs Sundays at 11:30 p.m. (PT) following KPIX-TV's 11:00 p.m. late night newscast. Weekend sports anchor Vern Glenn serves as the station's host to Fales and Jones.
