Cleveland, Ohio-----San Jose State University wide receiver Tyler Winston was named to his third freshman All-American football team as a second-team selection by PhilSteele.com.
Winston was one of the most productive and explosive freshman wide receivers nationally with his 58 receptions for 858 yards and five touchdowns. He was the only freshman to produce four games of 100 or more receiving yards and have back-to-back games of 10 or more receptions in 2013.
Earlier in the month, the 2013 Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year was a third-team choice by Athlon Magazines and an honorable mention selection by CollegeFootballNews.com.
