Dallas, Texas----- A successful January continued for San Jose State University quarterback David Fales with a pair of victories at the 2014 Quicken Loans All-Star Football Challenge produced by Intersport.
One of three quarterbacks participating in the accuracy competition, the record-setting Spartan signal out-dueled Clemson's Tajh Boyd and Logan Thomas of Virginia Tech. He then teamed with Tulane kicker Cairo Santos, Florida cornerback Marcus Roberson, Alabama defensive back Ha Ha Clinton-Nix and Minnesota defensive lineman Ra'Shede Hageman in a five-man relay activity of kicking, throwing the football, strength and obstacle course running.
Fales traveled to Arlington's Cowboys Stadium following a Senior Bowl performance in which he completed 6-of-7 passes with an interception for 104 yards and a touchdown helping the South team to a 20-10 victory.
The 16th annual Quicken Loans All-Star Football Challenge will air again on February 2 on ESPN2 at 11:00 a.m. (PT) and April 27 on ESPN at 1:00 p.m. (PT).
