San José, Calif. --- The #44 San José State University women's swimming team closes its 2013-14 dual meet season and look for their ninth straight win as it travels to rival Fresno State on Saturday, February 1st. The Spartans (8-2) became nationally ranked after the 156-140 win against the University of Nevada on January 25. Senior Ashlyn Acosta had an impressive day, placing first in the 100 fly with a time of 55.50 and also winning the 200 fly in 1:03.97. Acosta also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team, which finished in 1:44.22.
