The 2014 San José State baseball season opens up this Friday night. Today, fans can tune in to watch veteran infielders Matt Carroll and Jacob Valdez represent the team in a live season preview at Bay Area Baseball Media Day.
All six Division I baseball programs: Stanford, California, Saint Mary's, USF, Santa Clara and San José State, along with local media will gather on the Stanford University campus for the event.

The 2014 season begins with San José State hosting San Diego State in a three-game Mountain West Conference series at Municipal Stadium on February 14-16.
