Oakland, Calif.----- San Jose State University wide receiver Noel Grigsbyis one of 11 undrafted free agents signed by the Oakland Raiders to a National Football League (NFL) contract. The team made the announcement earlier in the day.

Grigsby completed his career as one of the most prolific pass catchers in San Jose State history. He ranks second on the Spartans' career list with 237 receptions and first in receiving yardage with 3,121 yards.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Los Angeles native holds the single-season school record of 89 receptions in 2011 and is the only Spartan with 80 or more catches in multiple seasons. Grigsby is the third Spartan to sign a 2014 NFL free agent contract. Earlier, wide receiver Chandler Jones signed with the Cleveland Browns and linebacker Keith Smith signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Cornerback Bené Benwikere, drafted in the fifth round by the Carolina Panthers, and quarterback David Fales, the Chicago Bears's sixth round draft choice, are two more San Jose State players from the 2013 team embarking on NFL careers.
