PALO ALTO, Calif. - The San José State women's cross-country team finished with 430 points to placed 16th out 21 schools Saturday morning in the Stanford Invitational.
Junior Jenny Beckingham led the Spartans finishing the 6k course in 22:36 for a 71st place finish.
Melanie Fujiwara (132, 23:15), Marissa Buckley (149, 23:24), Diana Orozco (174, 23:37), Karina Nunes (195, 23:48), Allison Kimura (222, 24:16), and Lalida Maokhamphiou (257, 24:50) rounded out the San José State finishers.
Abby Regan of Washington State completed the course in 20:31 to earn the top position, while Stanford placed four runners in the top-20 to finish first in the team standings.
San José State will hit the course once again on Saturday, October 18 at the Santa Clara Invitational.
