Colorado Springs, Colo.----- San José State University freshman Cari Reiswig finished in 43rd place out of 55 divers at the NCAA Division I Zone E Diving Championships hosted by the Air Force Academy.
The Spartans' top all-around diver in 2014-15 finished with a 234.40 point total for her six dives in the preliminary round competition. A score of 282.45 was necessary to be one of the top-18 competitors to qualify for six more dives in the championship round.
Reiswig concludes her first NCAA Championship competition Tuesday, March 10, in the 1-meter event.
