San Jose, Calif. - After a successful road trip to Fresno, taking two of three from the Bulldogs last weekend, the San José State softball team is back at SJSU Field, where it has yet to lose this season, to host the Colorado State Rams in conference action this week.

SINGLE SEASON RBI RECORD FALLS
With three RBIs in the Spartans' 9-7 win over Fresno State (4/1), Jessie Hufstetler (Jr., INF, Atascadero, Calif.) set the program's single-season RBI record at 55. At her current pace, 1.5 RBI/game, Hufstetler could finish the season with 84 RBI. She eclipsed Jessica Garcia's record of 53 which was set last year.

San José State leads the MW in several offensive categories...the Spartans the league in batting average (.346), runs (240), hits (346), RBI (215), slugging (.475), walks (169), on-base % (.450) and they have struck out just 134 times in 1,000 at-bats.

Jessie Hufstetler (Jr., INF, Atascadero, Calif.) leads the Mountain West in five offensive categories...slugging % (.809), RBIs (55), doubles (12), , total bases (89). She is second in home runs (9) and on-base % (.550).
GET TO THE YARD ON TIME...THIS MAY NOT TAKE LONG
In the Spartans' 25 victories this season, the team has defeated its opponents in less than the regulation seven innings nine times. San José State has won each of its four home games all by run-rule.
SEEING DOUBLE
With its 15-hit barrage at Fresno State (3/25), San José State has rapped out double-digit hits in 20 of its 37 games this season. When the Spartans reach double-digit hits they are 20-0.
DRIVING THEM IN
At the beginning of the week, the Spartans' three-four-five hitters Jessie Hufstetler (Jr., INF, Atascadero, Calif.), Sharon-Renae Estrada (Sr., 3B, san Bernardino, Calif.) & Alyssa Martinez (Jr., SS, Wasco, Calif.) ranked one, two & five in RBIs in the MW with a combined 126 runs batted in. Hufstetler has 55; Estrada, 39; and Martinez, 32.
SENIOR FISH OFF TO HER BEST START
Madison Fish (Sr., RHP, Sacramento, Calif.) is 12-3 in 17 appearances and 13 starts in 2015. She passed her previous season best of eight wins from 2014. In 76.1 innings she has struck out 63 batters and thrown four complete games.
LANG TAKES THE BALL
Allison Lang (Sr., RHP, Fountain Valley, Calif.) has a 8-6 record, five saves and a 2.86 ERA in 26 appearances and 18 starts this year. San José State had faced six top-25 teams this year and Lang has taken the ball in five of those contests. She started against #14 Arizona, #18 California, #1 Florida, #3 Michigan and #15 Baylor and earned the decision in four of those games.
Last weekend at Fresno State, Lang went 1-1 with a save in three games. She shut out the Bulldogs 1-0 on Friday and carried a perfect game into the sixth on Saturday before falling 3-2 in eight. On Sunday, she earned a save in the team's 9-7 win.
