Bulldog Invitational Up Next For Women's Outdoor Track & Field

April 24, 2015

With the Mountain West Championships just three weeks away, the San José State women's outdoor track and field team will compete in one of it's final two regular season meets this Saturday at the Bulldog Classic in Clovis, Calif.

The Bulldog Invitational is a multi-team competition with dual scores being kept between the participating teams in the field including: San José State, UNLV, Nevada, Cal State Northridge, Cal Poly, CSU Bakersfield, Fresno Pacific and host Fresno State.

The Spartans head into the Bulldog Invitational after solid performances last week in the California Invitational Combined, Bryan Clay Invitational and Beach Invitational. Over a three-day span, Cambree Harbaugh set a new SJSU record with a 5.97-meter long jump, Makayla Webb turned in a program-best 1:01.02 in the 400-hurdles, and Jade Childs surpassed her season-bests in all seven events of the heptathlon.

Both field and running events at the Bulldog Invitational will begin at 1:30 p.m. PT at Veterans Memorial Field at Buchannon High School. Live scoring for the meet will be provided by RecordTiming.com.
